Vacation Days 2 & 3, Parties, Farmers Markets & Beach Days

August 7, 2017 by Kate @ The Two Bananas Leave a Comment

Continuing my food themed vacation, days 2 and 3 included a family party with awesome food, a visit to a farmers market with incredible produce, and of course a trip to the beach.

My vacation continues to be filled with awesome food (it’s everywhere I look), with a big family party on Saturday. Like most family parties, this one was an all-day eating affair including a bacon egg and cheese breakfast, guac & chips, stromboli and prosciutto bread snack, and sausage & peppers, meatballs, and pasta dinner (and that’s only a short list of all the items included in our feast). I didn’t take as many pictures of the food as I would have liked – dips in the pool, games of ping pong, and of course ever-flowing drinks were quite the distraction, but I did manage to grab a few quick shots of some of our many delicacies.

The morning included a quick trip to a Southampton specialty, Tate's Bake Shop, where they make the most incredible pastries and cookies - you can even find their cookies packaged in grocery stores now!

Sunday morning, everyone being a tiny bit hung over, we took it easy. A morning trip to the farmers market gained me the opportunity to grab some shots of some of the most gorgeous farm fresh Hamptons produce around. The afternoon was spent at the beach, reading and catching some sun, with a few more of my beautiful cousins.
